Permanent Full-Time Maintenance Mechanic | Workshop-Based

You'll be working in a clean, modern, and well-organised workshop – no site work, no shutdowns, no surprises – just consistent hours, a supportive team, and interesting, hands-on mechanical work.

What’s on Offer:

• Permanent, full-time role – not casual or labour hire
• $55–$65/hr PERM + penalties (based on experience)
• Consistent 45 hour weeks
• Monthly RDO
• Dedicated onsite parking and safety-focused environment

Your Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on Elevated Work Platforms (EWPs)
• Strip down and rebuild EWPs according to manufacturer guidelines
• Support major inspections, including 10-year compliance checks
• Assemble hydraulic components such as pins, bushes, cylinders, and boom arms
• Confidently perform general hydraulic tasks and troubleshooting
• Assist with the installation and setup of new service truck fit-outs
• Conduct final testing and commissioning of fully assembled units
• Consistently maintain high safety standards and attention to quality

What You’ll Bring:

• Relevant trade qualification – Heavy Vehicle, Light Vehicle, or Plant Mechanic
• Proven hydraulic and mechanical experience
• Able to read and work from mechanical drawings
• Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and reliability
• A full set of mechanical tools
• Willingness to work Mon–Thu (6 AM–3:30 PM) and Fri (6 AM–1 PM), with overtime as required
• Experience with machinery maintenance and repairs is highly regarded
