About the role

As a full-time Motor Mechanic at Palmview Mechanical, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing a wide range of vehicles, from cars to light commercial vehicles. Your work will be vital in keeping our clients' vehicles running smoothly and safely. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established workshop and contribute to the success of the business.

What you'll be doing

Performing scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tune-ups

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues

Replacing worn or faulty parts and components

Conducting vehicle inspections and providing recommendations for necessary repairs

Maintaining detailed records of all work performed

Ensuring a safe and efficient workspace

What we're looking for

Qualifications in Automotive Mechanics or a related field

Several years of experience as a Motor Mechanic, preferably in a workshop environment

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Familiarity with a wide range of automotive systems and components

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work

Good communication skills to liaise with customers

A valid driver's licence and your own tools
