A leading Australian convenience retailer, known for its expansive national footprint and commitment to innovation, is seeking a Retail Operations & Engagement Specialist to join its high-performing team. This organisation is at the forefront of digital transformation in the retail sector, continuously evolving its customer experience through technology, data-driven insights, and operational excellence.
This newly created role is pivotal in supporting the delivery of enterprise-wide initiatives that span internal communications, stakeholder engagement, and strategic project execution. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the coordination and execution of key engagement activities, including annualised events, strategic communications, and pilot programs.
- Support the deployment of major initiatives by aligning messaging with business priorities and operational goals.
- Translate complex business strategies and insights into clear, compelling communications across multiple channels.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective delivery of tactical executions.
- Drive innovation in communication platforms, particularly within the digital and AI space, to enhance engagement and operational efficiency.
- Develop and manage programmed communications that support change initiatives and business transformation.
- Take ownership of specific workstreams, contributing to broader project outcomes while working collaboratively across departments.

- You bring proven experience in retail operations, internal communications, or project coordination within a large, customer-centric organisation.
- You have a strong understanding of consumer behaviour and how to translate insights into scalable, impactful messaging.
- You’re confident presenting to senior stakeholders and influencing across all levels of the business.
- You thrive in dynamic environments and are comfortable balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution.
- You’re detail-oriented, creative, and passionate about leveraging digital tools to drive engagement and operational success.
