About the role

Caloundra City Private School is seeking a passionate and experienced Design Teacher to join our team on a 0.6 FTE (part-time) basis. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise to shaping the education of our students in Pelican Waters, QLD.

What you'll be doing

Deliver engaging and innovative Design and Technology lessons to secondary students

Plan and prepare lessons that align with the school's curriculum and learning objectives

Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to support their learning and development

Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve teaching practices and resources

Participate in co-curricula activities and contribute to the broader school community when required

What we're looking for

Relevant teaching qualifications and registration to teach in Queensland

Demonstrated experience teaching Design and Technology at the secondary level

Strong subject matter expertise and a passion for Design and Technology education

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and parents

Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a positive school culture

Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement
