The Daisy’s team includes approximately 200 people, working across 9 stores and 6 production sites, from Pakenham to Torquay. We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Store Manager to join our Laverton team on a full-time basis.

The role

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will:

Providing leadership to the store team alongside the other store managers

Provide excellent customer service

Be responsible for assisting in overseeing daily store activities – customer service, delivery management, inventory and merchandising, presentation, open and close processes etc

Promote workplace health and safety and environmental compliance

Support the implementation of operational and strategic improvements at store level

Undertake customer relationship management & sales growth activities

This is a 38 hour+ full-time role with a Monday to Friday, Tuesday to Saturday rotating roster. Flexibility is available for the right candidate.

Skills & experience

The successful applicant will be an experienced customer service professional who:

Has strong experience working in a customer facing retail environment

Has an excellent ability to form and maintain positive customer relationships

Is comfortable learning to use a computerised point of sale system

Can provide leadership to the store team

Experience with or knowledge of landscaping supplies advantageous
