Kalgoorlie Overland Motel Receptionist – Part-Time to Full-Time

We’re on the lookout for a reliable and friendly receptionist to join our front desk team at the Kalgoorlie Overland Motel. This role offers part-time to full-time hours, averaging around 35 hours per week, with flexibility for the right candidate.

About the Role:
As the face of our motel, you’ll be the first point of contact for guest, handling enquiries, managing bookings, and providing outstanding customer service. The position requires a rotating roster, with one week of morning shifts followed by one week of evening shifts, across Monday to Sunday.

This is a dynamic role that also involves supporting our front-of-house team where needed, such as assisting with the kiosk, bar, or on the floor during busy periods. A hands-on, team-oriented attitude is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Greeting guests and managing check-ins/outs

Handling phone and email enquiries and reservations

Daily system rollovers and balancing tills

Following established checklists and procedures

Responding to guest feedback with professionalism

Providing support to FOH operations when required

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar reception/admin role

Excellent computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Experience with mining-related bookings a plus

Hospitality or motel experience preferred

RSA (or willing to obtain within the first month)

Availability for both morning and evening shifts on a rotating roster, including weekends
