As the Electricity Area Manager, you'll be responsible for:

  • Managing daily operations, plant and equipment, and depot budgeting
  • Delivering the Asset Management Plan scheduled and reactive maintenance and ensuring all reactive fault works are completed and closed out
  • Own network projects in the area and drive successful outcomes
  • Leading a high performing team of eight reports, with a focus on safety, reliability, and performance
  • Coordinating maintenance, vegetation management, and network access projects with external contractors
  • Engaging with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive positive outcomes

Success in This Role Means:

  • Full delivery of the regional asset management plan within allocated timeframe and budget
  • Ensuring our customers have reliable power across the region

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience in works delivery management in the electricity distribution industry
  • Strong financial management skills and experience in budget oversight
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities
  • In-depth knowledge of operational efficiency and project management
  • Understanding of working in remote areas - thinking end to end and outside the box
  • A confident decision-maker with strong leadership skills and experience
  • Solutions focused - with a proven ability to think on your feet
  • Qualified with a relevant trade or diploma, Electrical Worker's License, and frontline management certification
