Are you an experienced Electrical Technician ready to take ownership of your work and make a real impact in regional Western Australia? Horizon Power is looking for a self-motivated, hands-on Generation Technician to maintain and operate power generation assets across Broome and surrounding communities.
In this newly created role due to increased assets, you'll work independently and as part of a supportive team, delivering safe, reliable energy through diesel, gas, and renewable systems. You'll plan and execute maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to exciting upgrades and new generation projects - all while enjoying the lifestyle and benefits of regional living.

What You'll Do:
- Operate and maintain generation assets to meet safety and performance standards
- Deliver work packages and technical support across multiple sites
- Perform switching, isolations, and permitting
- Monitor contractor performance and contribute to asset management planning
- Travel to remote communities and participate in an availability roster
What You'll Bring:
- WA Electrical Trade Qualification & Electrical Workers Licence
- Experience in diesel/gas power station operation and maintenance
- Strong knowledge of generation systems and safety standards
- Ability to work independently and think on your feet
- Bonus: Experience with renewable energy, gas fitting, or HV/LV switching
