The Opportunity

On behalf of our head contractor, builder / developer client, we’re seeking a skilled and proactive Structures Foreman to oversee the structural phase of a major mixed-use development on the city fringe. With early works nearing completion, this role will take the lead on the structural build of a multi-storey $120 million+ project featuring premium residential, commercial, and retail components.

With multiple years work in the pipeline, reporting directly to the site manager and senior project manager, you'll play a critical leadership role, driving site operations, coordinating trades, and ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and delivery are met across all structural elements.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee structural activities including formwork, reinforcement, post-tensioning, concrete pours, and steelwork.

Coordinate subcontractors and daily site operations to maintain safety and productivity.

Sequence and manage structural works in alignment with the construction schedule.

Monitor site performance, risks, constraints, and key project milestones.

Ensure compliance with WHS and implement project-specific safety protocols.

Promote a solutions-focused and accountable site culture.

Maintain clear communication with the Site and Project Management teams.

What You’ll Bring

QBCC Open Supervisors Licence (required).

Proven experience in a Structures Foreman role on mid- to high-rise commercial or residential projects.

Strong technical knowledge of structural systems and build methodologies.

Ability to lead teams under pressure while maintaining a strong safety culture.

Skilled in interpreting structural drawings and managing sequencing effectively.

Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
