My client, a well-known plumbing contractor operating across Victoria is seeking an intermediate Hydraulic Engineer to grow their existing team. The business is a Tier 1, D&C entity known for delivering high-profile commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects across Melbourne.

You will be a highly motivated, experienced Hydraulic Engineer with a desire to work on major projects for renowned builders.

Day to Day Duties:

• Design and oversee hydraulic systems including water supply, stormwater, and sewerage for large-scale projects
• Liaise with architects, builders, and subcontractors to ensure compliance and effective delivery
• Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and construction drawings
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction phase
• Ensure all designs comply with Australian standards and Victorian regulations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical with a hydraulics focus)
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hydraulic design and documentation
• Proficiency in Revit (desired)
• Strong understanding of NCC, AS/NZS standards, and local plumbing codes
• Excellent communication and project coordination skills
• Registered or eligible for registration with relevant engineering board
