The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Telecommunication Electronics Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of telecommunication systems and electronic equipment across various infrastructure and network projects. Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, configure and test electronic circuits and systems for telecommunications and computing applications, including RF, microwave, fiber-optic networks, routers, and antennas

Develop and integrate embedded software within electronic and telecommunication systems

Conduct site surveys, risk assessments, and prepare technical documentation (e.g., TSSR, AAR, SAF)

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform maintenance and repairs to ensure reliability and compliance with safety standards

Supervise the installation and commissioning of communication, control, and computing systems, ensuring appropriate control and protection mechanisms are implemented

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including field engineers, project managers, and vendors, to support project delivery and integration

Participate in network upgrades and system integration involving technologies such as 4G/5G, LTE, and IoT

Model and simulate electronic processes to support the development of new devices and systems

Adapt and enhance existing systems to meet evolving performance and functional requirements

Analyses and prepares material costs, time estimates and design specifications for electronic systems and equipment, and ensures compliance with relevant regulations and standards in electronic engineering

Key Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field

Proven experience in electronic design and development

Proficiency with CAD tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCad)

Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers (e.g., ARM, PIC, AVR), and programming (C/C++)

Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable Qualifications:

Experience with 4G/5G network integration or IoT solutions

Knowledge of EMC compliance and safety testing

Familiarity with tools such as MATLAB, LabVIEW, or network analyzers

Experience working with NBN, Telstra, Optus, or other major telecom providers
