We're seeking an experienced Health & Safety Business Partner to join our team and make a meaningful impact across our radiology clinics in Queensland. In this newly created role, you'll work closely with our clinic teams to lead health and safety initiatives, ensure compliance, and support our people in embedding a strong, proactive safety culture across our services. The role requires regular travel throughout Queensland including key regional locations such as Rockhampton and Mackay as well as occasional travel to Western Australia. It's a hands-on role that's ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships across locations and is comfortable with frequent travel.

🧭 ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Group Health & Safety Manager, you'll support a small health & safety team within the broader People & Culture function. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing strategic, practical Health & Safety advice to regional leaders and clinic teams.
• Developing tailored safety policies and procedures for radiology operations.
• Conducting risk assessments, audits, and training to ensure safety standards are met.
• Leading incident investigations and promoting continuous improvement.
• Supporting over 40 clinics with regular travel across SE Queensland.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

🙋‍♀️ ABOUT YOU
You're a hands-on safety professional with a strong operational and collaborative background -ideally in healthcare or radiology-and enjoy working closely with frontline teams.

🧰 You'll bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in Health and Safety essential
• Extensive and solid experience in in an operational health & safety role, preferably within a healthcare or radiology setting.
• Demonstrated experience to facilitate risk assessments, safety training, undertake internal audits and investigate incidents will be essential.
• High level computer skills with sound experience in Microsoft Office, excel and online learning and incident management systems.
• Demonstrated experience with building relationships and providing practical business partnering support across a devolved business structure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to influence and drive change across multidisciplinary teams.
• Will require access to a car and hold a valid driver's licence as regular travel between sites will be essential.
