About the role

Bay Steel is seeking a Qualified Boilermaker to join our team in Salamanda Bay, NSW. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced boilermaker to contribute to the ongoing success of our dynamic manufacturing company.

What you'll be doing

Perform a variety of welding, cutting, and fabrication tasks to produce high-quality steel products

Read and interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and specifications to complete projects accurately

Operate a range of hand and power tools, as well as welding equipment, safely and efficiently

Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to the required standards

Maintain a safe and tidy work environment, following all relevant health and safety procedures

What we're looking for

Qualified boilermaker with a relevant trade certificate or equivalent qualification

Proficient in a range of welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work

Effective communication and teamwork skills

A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
