The Opportunity
We currently have a full-time opportunity for an experienced Boilermaker or Fabricator to join our close-knit team. This role is suited to someone who is passionate about custom projects, takes pride in their work, and wants to be part of a business that values its people. For the right candidate, there is scope to step into a leadership position on projects.

A Day in the Life
Your day will typically begin in the workshop, working on the fabrication of custom gates, fencing components and structural elements. You’ll be interpreting detailed shop drawings and welding aluminium, mild steel or stainless steel using both MIG and TIG methods. Depending on the job, you may head out for on-site installation, working alongside other team members to complete a high-end, tailor-made result. No two days are the same — one week might involve residential gate automation, the next might include a large commercial boundary installation. Throughout the day, you’ll work with a small, reliable team that values quality, safety and professionalism.

What You Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to bring the right skills, mindset and qualifications. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, shows leadership when needed, and upholds high standards in all aspects of their work.

You must have:

• Certificate III in Engineering or equivalent trade qualification
• A minimum of 5 years’ post-trade experience in aluminium and mild steel fabrication (MIG and TIG)
• On-site installation experience
• The ability to read and interpret shop drawings
• A White Card (Construction Induction)
• A current Driver's Licence
• Physical fitness and willingness to get your hands dirty
• A positive, reliable attitude and strong work ethic

• Stainless steel fabrication
• Gate automation systems
• MR Truck Licence
• Glass and glazing experience
• Fitter machinist skills

When: An immediate start is available for this long-term opportunity.
Hours: Staring at 7 am and finishing by 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday
Remuneration: This position is offered between $35 and $45 per hour. (Subject to Experience)
