As a full-time Boilermaker Fabricator at Boneyard Fabrications, you'll play a vital role in leading the team to ensure the projects are run smoothly and efficiently both on site and in the workshop

What you'll be doing

Oversee and coordinate the work of a dedicated team to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects

Carry out hands-on fabrication and welding tasks to the highest standards using a range of specialised equipment

Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to guide the fabrication process

Identify and troubleshoot any issues that arise, implementing effective solutions

Ensure compliance with all relevant safety procedures and quality control measures

Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to more junior team members

Liase with clients to complete the projects to the highest standards they expect

What we're looking for

Formal trade qualification as a Boilermaker or relevant experience

Demonstrated hands-on expertise in metal fabrication, welding and assembly techniques MIG , TIG and STICK

Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards

Sound understanding of interpreting engineering drawings and specifications

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Positive, collaborative attitude and effective communication skills
