A major NSW Government division is seeking a senior finance leader to oversee strategic financial management and business partnering for critical services. This is a key leadership opportunity to support a division undergoing large-scale reform and manage funding streams in the billions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead finance business partnering for capital budgets exceeding $1.4 billion
• Develop strategic budget frameworks and support executive decision-making through financial advice
• Engage with central finance, Treasury and external stakeholders on funding, reprioritisation and reporting
• Prepare submissions for Cabinet and Ministerial offices aligned with long-term reform objectives
• Manage and mentor a team of 4 managers
• Oversee financial governance, reporting and performance analytics in line with public sector best practice

About You:

• Minimum 7 years’ senior finance experience within a government or large NFP environment
• Proven expertise in managing large capital and operating budgets under government financial frameworks
• Demonstrated success in leading finance teams and advising senior executives in complex environments
• Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly with Treasury or similar
• CA, CPA or equivalent required

Location: Parramatta(Hybrid) up to 3 days WFH
Rate: Up to - $1,454.72 per day (PAYG or ABN)
Contract Duration: 14 July – 13 October 2025
