Join our TAFE department as an Enrolments Officer, thriving in a fast-paced, regulated environment to ensure consistent service delivery and process excellence.

About the Position
As the Enrolments Officer (EO), you will be responsible for playing a pivotal role within the TAFE Student Services team, providing front-line customer services responding to enquiries from internal and external stakeholders and administrative support in the day-to-day operations of range of student record management services across student lifecycle processes. This includes managing enquiries and prospective leads, course applications, enrolments, progression, grading, fees, course transfers, and recognition of prior learning (advanced standing).

EOs thrive in a fast-paced, regulated environment and work collaboratively within a distributed team to ensure consistent service delivery and process excellence across campus locations, and work to support other areas of TAFE support services as required.

About You
To be successful, you will require:

  • Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to the completion of Year 12 and/or Certificate IV in a nationally accredited qualification and/or experience in an administrative or operational role, preferably in a high regulated industry and/or complex organization
  • Written communication skills, with the ability to respond to enquiries and update business process documentation and work instructions.
  • Verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex processes or regulations, to provide clear information to customers and to communicate effectively and constructively with staff.
  • Experience working in a team of administrative or customer service staff (in the vocational or higher education sector preferred), including collaborating to achieve shared goals.
  • An outstanding commitment to customer service for internal and external customers, delivering exceptional customer outcomes alongside administrative excellence.

Desirable Competencies

  • Experience in one or more fields of VET and/or HE student and academic administration.
  • Experience in lean (or similar) business process improvement projects or programs of work.

Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Professional Employee Level 4. The base salary will be in the range of $67,800 - $72,078 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $79,326 - $84,331 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
