We’re looking for a Personal Assistant to support Dr Andrew Leech, Founding GP and Director of The Garden Family Medical Clinic, in a position that offers more than just diary management. This is an opportunity to become a trusted right-hand support person in a thriving, purpose-driven healthcare organisation.

You’ll work closely with Dr Leech and the Garden leadership team across a broad scope of responsibilities, including:

Direct interaction with medical professionals, patients, and the wider healthcare community.

Managing high-level administrative tasks such as scheduling, emails, phone calls, and priority task management.

Supporting education and media commitments, including social media management, conferences and online webinars, and community engagement.

Coordinating with internal clinical and support teams across two modern, fast-paced clinics.

Exposure to collaborative projects in child and adolescent health, mental health innovation, and family-based healthcare models.

As we continue to evolve and innovate, your role may include interactions with the state health department, leading healthcare organisations and research partners who we are involved with.

This is a dynamic, growth-oriented role where you’ll have the chance to develop your skills over time, take on exciting new challenges, and carve out your own professional pathway. You’ll gain invaluable experience in the healthcare sector, with touchpoints extending to allied health, psychology, public speaking, media, social impact, and health education.

We’re looking for someone who is:

Proactive, adaptable, and solution-focused.

Tech-savvy with strong organisational skills.

A great communicator who can engage confidently with a diverse range of people.

Interested in making a meaningful contribution to a clinic that genuinely cares about its community.

Comfortable with computers and office software (Teams, Outlook, etc.)

Experienced in Healthcare Roles (it will be a bonus if you've previously worked in Health roles)

About Us

Founded by one of our GP's, Dr Andrew Leech, The Garden is a modern, family-focused medical clinic with two locations in Murdoch and Piara Waters. Our team includes amazing GPs, nurses, and allied health professionals – including psychology, podiatry, speech therapy, dietician and a nurse practitioner.

We’ve been recognised for our high-quality care and were finalists in the Telstra Small Business Awards. We’ve also been selected by the Australian Government as one of only two Pelvic Pain & Endometriosis Clinics in WA, and we're passionate about advocacy, education, and making a difference. As part of this we will be the first clinic in Australia to offer a blood test for endometriosis as part of a world leading clinical trial. We partner regularly with government and non-government organisations to participate in new models of care.
