3. Landscape Maintenance Leading Hand

4. Landscape Maintenance Technicians

5. Tree Planting & Juvenile Tree Maintenance Technicians
Department: Tree Planting & Maintenance

Key Responsibilities

Open Space Turf Maintenance - Operational Supervisor/Leading Hand:

(Salary package on offer following successful completion of probationary period)

Perform daily toolbox talks

Manage 4-6 staff across two mowing zones

Assist the accounts manager and operations manager

Ensure the smooth running of daily mowing operations

Complete daily jobs in computerised software

Liaise with clients where required

Ensure all staff comply with company policies and procedures

Ensure plant and equipment are maintained in accordance with manufactures specifications.

Adhere to and promote company culture and good core values

Attend performance management meetings for staff within your team

🌿Open Space Turf Maintenance Technicians:

Perform mowing, brushcutting and herbicide spraying works.

Adhere to company policies and safe work practices.

Perform daily maintenance on minor plant and equipment.

🌿Landscape maintenance leading hand:

Perform daily toolbox talks

Manage daily operations for all facets of landscape maintenance works for multiple clients

Manage 1-2 operational staff on a daily basis

Complete daily jobs in computerised software

Liaise with clients where required

Ensure plant and equipment are maintained in accordance with manufactures specifications.

Attend performance management meetings for staff within your team

🌿Landscape maintenance technicians:

Perform daily landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, brush cutting, pruning, hedging and weed eradication.

Adhere to company policies and safe work practices.

Perform daily maintenance on minor plant and equipment.

🌿Tree Planting & Tree maintenance Technicians:

Perform tree planting & mulching works

Perform juvenile tree pruning in accordance with AS4373

Perform soft landscaping and landscape enhancement works as directed

Adhere to company policies and safe work practices.

Perform daily maintenance on minor plant and equipment.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

Knowledge of plants, pests and disease.

Excellent time management skills.

Certificate 3 in parks and gardens or cert 3 in structural landscaping an advantage

ADCD chemical certification an advantage

A willingness to advance within the company and an interest in increasing knowledge of the industry

Minimum 3 years of proven experience for leading hand and operational supervisor roles similar to what is on offer

Current drivers licence and own transport is essential
