Your Role

We currently have a new vacancy available for a Grounds Team Leader and offsider positions who will be responsible for delivering Grounds Maintenance works as part of a wider team. You will work at a variety of locations & travel between multiple sites within Ipswich QLD & Surrounding. This role will also include carrying out regular ground's maintenance activities. Team leaders will be provided with a Work Ute, Trailer, Mobile phone. Project to commence on 02/07 but training day will be 30/06.

Use of whipper Snippers and blowers to manage vegetation and debris

Operate mower to mow large open sites

Assist as required in other grounds maintenance activities

Manage delivery of works on site to ensure productivity

Operating a vehicle with trailer attachment

Complete job information on an iPad, i.e. photographs, work logs, pre-starts & labour entries

Perform general maintenance to plant and equipment

Ensure all safe work practices are followed

What You Bring

To be successful in this role you will have proven experience in landscaping, gardening or grounds maintenance. Additionally, you will:

Hold a current & clean drivers license with reliable transport

Hold a valid Police Check

Reliability and a willingness to travel

Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively

A strong commitment to safety

2-5 Years of Horticulture experience (For team leaders applying)
