About the Role
Reporting to: The Sales and Marketing Manager
As a System Design and Sales Consultant, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and expanding our client base. Your primary responsibilities will include identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and supporting the sales process from lead generation through to deal closure. You will work closely with the sales and marketing team to achieve sales targets and contribute to the ongoing success of Rainbow Power Company
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide specialised advice and information on Rainbow Power Company’s products and services to meet sales targets.
Maintain a professional and congenial outlook towards co-workers, suppliers, utilities and other agencies at all times.
Any other duties are reasonably directed, having regard to your skills, training and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Management & Follow-up:
Contact all incoming leads the same day via phone, email, or text.
Call a minimum of 300 contacts per month to generate leads and maintain engagement.
Track leads and client interactions in the CRM system.
Consultations & Quotations:
Provide consultations on solar design, energy savings, and financing.
Create and present tailored solar quotes and proposals.
Follow up on quotes to answer questions and guide clients to a decision.
Forecast monthly jobs
Provide data on jobs signed and paid deposit that month
Site Visits & Assessments:
Conduct on-site consultations to assess client needs and evaluate property suitability.
Recommend efficient solar solutions based on site conditions.
Complete Sales Check 1 once deposit paid in a reasonable time frame (same month of deposit being paid)
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
Provide exceptional service and follow up after installations to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback.
Create a referral network with existing clients
Trade Shows & Networking:
Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
Stay informed about industry trends and collaborate with the marketing team.
Sales Performance & Goals:
Meet sales targets and strive for high conversion rates.
Seek opportunities for upselling services
Training & Development:
Continuously update product knowledge and sales skills.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions and fun days.
Administrative Responsibilities:
Keep the CRM updated with all client interactions.
Prepare sales reports and ensure accurate contract documentation.
Ideal Candidate
Demonstrated experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the renewable energy or related sector.
Proven ability to generate leads, build relationships, and close deals.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong organisational and time management abilities, with attention to detail.

Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
Passion for renewable energy and commitment to Rainbow Power Company’s values.
The position will be permanent full-time, 38 hours per week working form our office in Nimbin, NSW. Start date mid July.
