About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Entry-Level Biomedical Engineer to join our Technical Services team at Getz Healthcare Technical Service Pty Ltd. This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the biomedical field.
If you have 2–3 years of experience in electrical, electronics, or a similar trade, and are ready to grow your skills in a hands-on healthcare setting, this role is for you. Biomedical experience is desirable but not essential—we’ll train and support the right person.
You'll work with a reputable team of senior engineers, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional medical technology service across hospitals and healthcare providers in ANZ.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the repair, maintenance, and servicing of medical equipment in accordance with company standards.
Support the testing and validation of new products and processes.
Deliver excellent customer service and maintain high satisfaction levels.
Work on a range of devices including anaesthetic machines, defibrillators, patient monitors, infusion pumps, beds, and blood apheresis equipment.
Maintain service documentation and ensure compliance with AS/NZ3551:2012 and AS/NZ3003.
Help manage stock levels of tools, parts, and consumables used in servicing.
Participate in team projects and support senior engineers as required.
Maintain and calibrate servicing and test equipment.

What We’re Looking For
Bachelor of Engineering or Certificate IV in Electronics or similar.
2–3 years’ experience in an electrical/electronic trade or engineering role.
Electrical and/or medical gas licenses highly regarded.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn technical product info.
