Maternal and Child Health Nurse
- Maximum Term Contract - 12 months - Part Time 22.8 hpw
- Salary: $58.15 - $62.87 per hour + Super
- Location: MCH Centres across Maroondah City Council
Maroondah City Council is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maternal and Child Health Nurse (MCHN) to join our dynamic team working across our MCH centres in Maroondah council.
At Maroondah City Council you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment that has established professional partnerships with community services. These partnerships will enable you to provide the best care and referral options for the families of Maroondah City Council. Our supportive leadership team, regular clinical supervision sessions and team meetings will assist you in delivering timely and appropriate care and support to our families.
We encourage recently Graduated MCH nurses to apply.
The successful candidate will have:
- Post Graduate Diploma in Child and Family Health Nursing or Post Graduate Diploma of Nursing Science in Child Family and Community Nursing.
- Current registration as both a registered nurse and registered midwife on the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency register.
- High level communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated highly developed organisational skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of family partnerships, child development and behaviour.
As part of our selection process, you may be required to have pre-employment checks. (Psychometric Assessment, CrimCheck and Working with Children Clearance).
