Glen Iris Child Care is a family-owned centre located in Jandakot, dedicated to providing a safe, stimulating, and welcoming learning environment for young minds. Our team comprises passionate and driven educators committed to fostering children's development.

We are currently seeking an Early Childhood Teacher to join our team on a permanent, full-time or part-time basis, with an immediate start.

Responsibilities:

Document observations of individual children or groups using OWNA

Implement a program that reflects the interests, development, and culture of the children

Support fellow colleagues

Manage the day-to-day operations of the classroom

Maintain a safe, hygienic, and inspiring environment for the children attending the center

Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members

Qualifications/Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, or an actively pursued degree (at least 50% completed). Candidates holding a Diploma and having commenced ECT studies will also be considered.

A current Working with Children Check or the ability to obtain one immediately

Current First Aid certification (HLTAID0012) is preferred but not essential

Excellent communication skills
