Scafwest is seeking a motivated and dependable individual to join our Human Resources team in the role of HR and Administration Support. This position is available for immediate start and offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting the growth of a dynamic business.
Scafwest has over 35 years’ experience, earning a reputation as Perth’s leading scaffolding contractor. Scafwest specialises in scaffolding hire and project management for maintenance and capital projects. Scafwest works alongside major WA organisations across the defence, infrastructure, mining and resources sectors as well as building maintenance. With a dedicated team of over 90 employees, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of safety, quality and service in every project we undertake.
In this role, you will provide support to the HR team across all key HR and administration functions including but not limited to HRIS (Human Resources Information System) support, high volume recruitment, onboarding and employee data maintenance. You will play a crucial role in supporting day-to-day HR functions and ensuring smooth administrative processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, organised and passionate about people operations. Our successful candidate will be self-motivated and have a strong understanding of privacy and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update employee records and HR databases
Assist in the recruitment process (scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates)
Support onboarding processes and once confident, independently complete onboarding
Process documentation
Support and coordinate internal and external training
Provide administrative support when required
Requirements
Previous experience in administration or a similar role (1–2 years preferred)
Strong administrative and organisational skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
