Brightscope HR is looking for a Machine Operator/MR Truck Driver to work on a permanent basis for our client located in Dandenong South!

Day shift = Start 7am / Finish 3pm

Duties include but not limited:

• Will be required to perform relief truck driving predominately at the beginning of each month, slowing down towards the end of each month.

• When not driving will be required to work in warehouse to operate Machines.

• Must be able/willing to learn how to operate and maintain cut-length machine to ensure order requirements are met .

• Will be required at times to pull specified carpet roll out of designated storage bay using forklift and insert roll into cut-length machine.

• Must be able to accurately cut carpet to specified order lengths.

• Will be responsible for labelling and packaging roll cuts in preparation for dispatch.

• Will be required to assist with material/stock deliveries, stock put always, unloading/loading trucks etc. (where required).

• Must be willing to learn how to troubleshoot machine in case of breakdowns, making adjustments, and conducting diagnostic checks for report.

• will be required to performing setting adjustments as required for each order.

• Ensuring product quality and addressing concerns identified through QC checks.

• General cleaning and tidy up.

To be considered for this role:

• Machine operation experience (approx. 1 year)

• Must have an MR licence

• Physically able to complete the physical demands of the role: Instances of prolonged standing, bending, lifting (up to 20kgs), kneeling, & good eye coordination)

• Must have Own car and licence

• An LF licence is highly desirable

• Must have fluency in English (reading, writing and verbal communications)

• Previous MR truck driving experience is preferred
