For the Love Hospitality is a growing, professional and passionate group, run by sibling duo, Adam and Elisa Mariani. We’ve been creating since 2012, with current venues Greta and Maverick, both in the Melbourne CBD.

Elio’s Place

Elio’s Place is a vibrant bistro and bar in the heart of Melbourne's culinary district. Open early, up late, we offer breakfast, lunch and dinner, seven days a week. The food and beverage offering showcases European bistro classics melded with modern Australian flair, it’s where old world European charm meets warm and the most welcoming hospitality.

About the role

We are seeking experienced senior waitstaff and bartenders for part time and casual positions for our evening service. Ensuring that all guests who dine with us have memorable experiences filled with warm hospitality, delicious food and beverage, and attentive service. Availability to work a flexible roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays is essential.

Key responsibilities

Provide a high level of customer service

Guide customers through food and beverage menus

Respond to customer enquiries, requests, complaints in a professional manner

Follow key service protocols and procedures according to company standards

Contribute to a cohesive team environment while reporting to management

Skills and experience

At least two years experience working as a senior waiter or senior bartender.

A-la-carte restaurant experience is advantageous

Confident in 3-plate carry and wine service

Attention to detail, and focus on guest experience

Ability to adapt, work effectively in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication

Current RSA, wine, spirit and cocktail knowledge

WSET certificate is advantageous

Use of Sevenrooms reservation platform
