ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a motivated and well-rounded Solicitor to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have over two years’ post-admission experience and a demonstrated ability to manage files independently across a range of practice areas, particularly:

Family Law: parenting matters, property settlements, divorce proceedings

Criminal Law: summary and indictable matters, court representation, advocacy

Wills & Estates: drafting wills, probate applications, estate planning and administration

Civil Litigation: basic disputes, debt recovery, and appearances in lower courts

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct client interviews and provide strategic legal advice

Manage end-to-end legal matters with autonomy and initiative

Draft legal documents, affidavits, and correspondence

Represent clients in court appearances and mediation

Maintain accurate file management and billing records

Collaborate with senior solicitors and legal support staff

ABOUT YOU

Admitted to practice in Victoria with a current Australian practising certificate

Minimum 2 years PAE, preferably across multiple areas of law

Confident advocate with solid negotiation skills

High-level written and verbal communication

Strong client focus and professional integrity

Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
