FIFO or Residential Refrigeration & HVAC Technician

Due to our continued growth throughout the company, we are seeking a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Service Technician to join our Geraldton Branch. This position is a full-time position, with relocation and rent assistance packages available or FIFO rosters from Perth.

Role responsibilities:

• Communicate directly with key stake holders and provide/uphold customer relations.
• Perform corrective maintenance, servicing, fault finding and repairs to air conditioning and refrigeration systems plus associated apparatus.
• Accurate reporting on works progress, along with recommended and required repairs.
• Train and oversee activities of company Apprentices within the team.
• Liaise with suppliers and sub-contractors efficiently.
• Reporting to Branch Manager

Capabilities:

• Experience with HVAC&R maintenance, repairs, and installation
• Sound knowledge of a broad range of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
• Excellent Fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Time management skills and ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
• Exceptional Customer relations and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
• High WHS standard and work standards.

Requirements:

• Full Trade Qualification
• Full ARC License
• Current Drivers Licence
• Restricted Electrical
• Able to pass D&A screen regularly.
• Able to obtain Police Clearance
• White Card

Well above average hourly rate (residential position)

Competitive Salary (FIFO position)

Daily allowance while on site (FIFO position)

Productivity allowance (conditions apply)

House accommodation supplied close to shopping centre and other amenities (FIFO position only)

Own work vehicle
