Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair fire detection and suppression systems, including alarms, emergency lights and extinguishers.
2. Conduct routine inspections, testing, and servicing of fire safety equipment to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
3. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and fire system issues and provide efficient and effective solutions.
4. Install, repair, and maintain fire systems and components.
5. Collaborate with team members and clients to assess their fire safety and electrical needs and provide expert advice and recommendations.
6. Keep accurate records of work performed, including maintenance schedules, inspection reports, and equipment inventory.
7. Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to fire safety and electrical systems.

Requirements:

1. Qualified electrician/fire technician with relevant trade certification and a valid electrical license/QBCC licensing
2. Proven experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing fire systems.
3. Solid understanding of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
4. Familiarity with relevant fire safety codes and regulations.
5. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
7. Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
8. A current driver's license.
