- Multiple full time & part time positions available in surgical ward areas including Urology, ENT & General Surgery. Contracts are for 7 day rosters rotating across all shifts - no set days or shifts.
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Registered Nurse/Midwife (Level 1) to join our health service team, providing high-quality, person-centred care across a dynamic clinical environment. In this role, you will work toward building your professional capabilities, progressing from a novice to a proficient practitioner through ongoing development, supervision, and experience.
You will be accountable for delivering safe and effective nursing and/or midwifery care in accordance with professional standards, while also taking responsibility for any delegated tasks. This position offers an excellent opportunity to consolidate your clinical knowledge, enhance your practical skills, and contribute meaningfully to patient wellbeing within a supportive and collaborative team.
About You
You are a compassionate and capable nursing or midwifery professional who is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care. With sound clinical knowledge and a collaborative approach, you are well equipped to contribute effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse, Midwife, or Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, with a current practising certificate.
Demonstrated clinical competence aligned with professional standards and the ability to prioritise tasks in a dynamic setting.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, with a flexible and innovative approach to care delivery.
Knowledge of relevant legislation, codes of practice, and quality improvement systems in healthcare.
