ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will provide evidence-based therapy services to children and young people with disabilities, supporting them to achieve their goals under the NDIS framework. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver therapy in clinic, home, school, and community settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify functional goals and needs.

Develop and implement individualised therapy plans.

Deliver therapy services across various settings, including clinic, home, school, and community.

Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to support client outcomes.

Provide education and training to families and caregivers.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with NDIS requirements.

Participate in regular supervision and professional development activities.

Essential Criteria:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.

Current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.

Experience working with children and young people with disabilities.

Knowledge of NDIS processes and documentation requirements.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
