O'Brien Hudson is a leading boutique criminal law firm, based in Sydney CBD.

We are looking for a solicitor who is passionate about criminal law and is ready to join our specialist criminal defence team.

O'Brien Hudson deals with all criminal matters, including traffic matters, drug possession, drug supply, murder, terrorism and sexual assault.

The successful candidate will have between 1 - 3 years PQE in criminal law and also have experience in court advocacy. It is preferred if the candidate has experience with the ‘Legal Aid’ portal.

The role will include but will not be limited to:

Reading and summarising briefs of evidence;

Appearing in Court as an advocate in Sentences, Hearings and License Appeals;

Instructing counsel in Trials;

Assisting the firm's partners; and

General administrative work.

In your role, you will receive support and mentorship from two very experienced criminal solicitors. You will also have the opportunity to travel to various Courts throughout NSW as part of your role.
