The Role

We are currently seeking a skilled Compounding Technician with proven experience in cosmetic or pharmaceutical compounding to join our production team. This role is strictly for candidates with prior compounding experience. Applications without relevant experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately weigh, measure, and compound cosmetic ingredients according to formulation sheets and batch records

Operate and clean mixing equipment, tanks, and tools in compliance with GMP standards

Monitor batch processing times, temperatures, and consistency, adjusting where required

Maintain detailed records of batch production and adhere to SOPs

Collaborate with QC and Production Managers to ensure product quality and batch traceability

Follow hygiene, safety, and cleanroom protocols at all times

Essential Requirements

Minimum 1–2 years experience in compounding (cosmetic, personal care, or pharmaceutical)

Strong understanding of GMP, batch documentation, and ingredient handling

High attention to detail and ability to follow precise formulation instructions

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Physically fit to lift raw materials, handle equipment, and stand for extended periods

Valid Australian working rights

Preferred Qualifications

Certificate in Compounding, Cosmetic Science, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, or similar (highly regarded)

Prior experience with emulsions, gels, creams, and serums is advantageous
