About the Role
The Recovery Case Coordinator acts for the injured/ill employees in line with medical advice and medical clearances to return to work. This includes developing recovery plans and return to work agreements through consultation with workers, medical providers, managers and other relevant stakeholders.
The Recovery Case Coordinator manages the administration of workers' compensation claims in accordance with all legislative requirements and regularly reviews and monitors their progress throughout their recovery. This will require regular visits to stations and other FRV locations across the state of Victoria.
The role will also proactively provide advice, education and training to key stakeholders in the areas of rehabilitation, return to work and workers compensation, and provide ongoing support to the organisation.
What you will need to Succeed
To be successful in this position, you will have:
A tertiary qualification in an allied health related field (such as Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology or Human Movement) and / or significant relevant industry experience to be able to provide assistance to ill or injured workers - essential.
Meet Worksafe Victoria's requirements to deliver services as a Return to Work Coordinator - essential.
A current valid driver's license
Demonstrated ability and experience in the coordination of illness and injury recovery, rehabilitation and return to work with an aim to reduce the impact on the individual and the organisation.
Extensive understanding of workers compensation claims management and the relevant legislation.
Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders.

FRV’s standard practice is to appoint at the base of the salary range, however consideration will be given to an above base salary within the advertised range based on the successful candidate’s skills and experience.
