About the Opportunity

We are seeking an Experienced Machinist for a Permanent Full-Time opportunity, based at our Bunbury Workshop. This is an exciting role that will offer diverse exposure to a wide range of heavy machinery components in a large state-of-the-art workshop.

About You

• 3+ Years Experience in a Similar Role
• Australian Recognised Heavy Machinist Trade Certificate
• Demonstrated CRN Machine Experience
• Current High Risk Work Licence (Highly Regarded)
• Demonstrated experience in machining and maintaining components for machinery such as CAT, Liebherr, Hitachi and Komatsu
• Display a clear commitment and focus on the health, safety, and well-being of all employees
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence
• Willingness to undertake a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug/Alcohol Screen

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain precision machining equipment, such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
• Fabricate and repair components to exact specifications using technical drawings and measurements
• Conduct inspections to ensure the quality and accuracy of machined parts
• Perform routine maintenance and adjustments on machinery to ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely
• Maintain detailed records of machining processes, repairs, and tests performed
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
• Ability to meet deadlines whilst maintaining a strong approach to safety
