CNC Machinist - 7/7 Roster | $53/hr + Penalties | Perth Eastern Suburbs
A leading mining company in Perth's eastern suburbs is seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Machinist to join their team. Specialising in heavy mobile plant machinery, this role focusses on the machining of final drives and wheel ends.

About the Role:

• Roster: 7 days on / 7 days off
• Hours: 12-hour day shifts (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
• No night shift
• Pay: $53/hour + penalties
• Location: Eastern suburbs workshop

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture precision components
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Conduct quality checks to ensure components meet required tolerances
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment
• Work collaboratively with maintenance and engineering teams
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment

Requirements:

• Australian-recognised trade qualification in machining or fitting
• Demonstrated CNC machining experience, preferably in mining or heavy industry
• Full Australian working rights
• Valid Australian driving licence
• Ability to pass a National Police Clearance and pre-employment medical
• Strong commitment to teamwork, respect, and open communication
• Proactive mindset and willingness to receive and act on constructive feedback
