Your new company

Our client is a relocation services company that has operated in the ACT for over 30 years. They service both public and private sector businesses as well as providing some residential relocation services. They have a pipeline of upcoming relocations getting locked in and have had some staffing changes, so they are seeking experienced truck drivers to join their team of removalists.

Your new role

In this role you will be required to:

• Work as early as 7am starts from the Hume depot Monday to Friday with occasional weekends available.
  
• You will be required to physically lift in order to shift and move items such as desks, office chairs, boxes of stationery, computers, shelving and other related items depending on the job.
  
• You will drive the company truck adhering to all road rules.
  
• You will follow instructions provided by your on-site supervisor and take initiative to keep busy and work efficiently and safely.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Demonstrated recent experience in a similar role
  
• An MR truck license or higher and recent demonstrated truck driving expereince
  
• Reliable transport to get to and from work
  
• The ability to complete all manual handling tasks required in the role safely and consistently
  
• Good customer service and a can-do attitude

What you'll get in return

In return, you will be paid above-award hourly rates of $36-38 an hour for all hours worked, as well as penalty rates for overtime. This client is looking for drivers who can work full-time hours and be part of their team for the long run.
