Boundary Lane Children’s Centre is a community-based Long Day Care service located in the heart of Newtown, in Sydney’s Inner West. We educate and care for up to 62 children aged from birth to five years, Monday to Friday.

We acknowledge the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation as the traditional custodians of the land on which we learn and teach, and we recognise that education and storytelling have taken place on this land for thousands of years.

About the Role

We are currently seeking Certificate III educators to join our team in supporting the day-to-day operations of the service. You'll contribute to children's learning and development and work collaboratively with families and colleagues. The role includes planning, programming, and maintaining a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for all children.

Fostering strong, trusting relationships with children.

Support the delivery of the BLCC Curriculum Framework

Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that promotes each child’s development and wellbeing.

Build and maintain strong, respectful relationships with families to support each child’s individual learning journey.

Adhere to all relevant legislation, regulations, and organisational policies and procedures.

Maintain open, professional communication with colleagues, families, and external stakeholders.

We are currently looking to fill three 6-month fixed-term contract positions. We are also happy to consider casual educators who would like to join our internal casual pool/waitlist.
