Mountain Community Children's Centre is a Community Based not for profit Long Day Care Centre located in the beautiful rural town of Mangrove Mountain. Mangrove Mountain is less than a 30 minute drive from both Gosford and Tuggerah CBD. The centre has been operating for over 43 years providing education and care to children aged 0 - 5 years in the Mangrove Mountain and surrounding districts. The centre is open from 7.30am - 5.30pm. Shifts are 8 hours with a paid lunch break starting no earlier than 7.20am and finishing no later than 5.40pm. The centre closes for 3 weeks each year over the Christmas, New Year period. The centre is managed by a management committee and the day to day running of the service is managed by the centre director, senior administration officer and dedicated team of experienced educators. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Certificate III Qualified Educator to join our team. The centre pays above award wages.

Essential Requirements

Must be over 18 years

Certificate III Qualified

Current Education and Care First Aid HLTAID012 (with no less than 12 months expiry)

Minimum 2 years experience working as an Educator

Demonstrated enthusiasm and passion for Early Childhood Education and Care

Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and show initiative

Ability to participate in centre and community events

Drivers Licence and own transport recommended due to location

Must have computer knowledge of Microsoft Products such as PowerPoint and Word

Sound Understanding of the NQF, EYLF, Education and Care Services National Law (2010), the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011) and Child safe Standards
