Based in Wangaratta – delivering programs in Wangaratta, Benalla & Mansfield - flexible working arrangements available
$45 - $50K p.a. plus superannuation and annual leave loading
OUR ORGANISATION
NE Tracks Local Learning and Employment Network Inc. (NE Tracks LLEN) operates across The Rural City of Wangaratta, Benalla Rural City and Shire of Mansfield for over 20 years.
NE Tracks LLEN creates positive outcomes for young people by developing partnerships between local industry, schools and community. Exposure to career pathways, work based learning opportunities, local employers, and career events greatly assists young people to explore and transition successfully from school to further education, training or employment.
THE POSITION
Working as one of two Program Coordinators reporting to our CEO, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a calendar of industry engagement and work readiness activities, engaging local employers to provide work based learning opportunities. Facilitation of partnerships and networks which enhance connections and opportunities for young people are core components of this role.
This role requires satisfactory WWCC and Police Checks.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
Demonstrated history of engaging with local industry. Experience in business development, sale of services to businesses or engaging with businesses across all of the key industry sectors in the northeast would be highly regarded.
You are self-driven and have the skills and experience to see a project through from concept to completion.
You have genuine passion for youth and their futures, you wish to work in a supportive and meaningful organisation and be a part of a high performing team.
You are self-motivated, energetic, have excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills and are equally able to work independently when required or as a key member of our small team.
You can manage and monitor workflow in your areas of responsibility and report effectively and accurately on activities.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
Tertiary qualifications are preferred but not essential.
Experience in delivering state government funded programs in any of the education, not-for-profit or government sectors is preferred but not essential.
Experience working independently and as part a team.
Outstanding relationship creation and management skills.
High level verbal & written communication, and digital skills.
Knowledge of various career pathways available to young people highly beneficial. These skills may have been gained working in a careers role within education or an employment agency.
