About the role

Fixed term temporary full time opportunity to provide high level dental assisting to eligible patients of the School Dental Service (SDS) in Metro North Oral Health Services (MNOHS).

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• Provide chairside assistance to Dentists, Dental Specialists, Dental Prosthetists, Dental and Oral Health Therapists, and Dental Students in oral health procedures.
• Maintain the clinical environment in a safe and hygienic state and undertake supportive duties, such as maintenance of instruments and equipment.
• Monitor and organise supplies and stores and reorder stock of dental instruments, dental materials and office requisites as required.
• Provide supervision, leadership, direction, and support to your team of Dental Assistants to ensure the efficient operations of SDS and manage their performance appraisal and staff development.
