Registered Psychologist – Victims Services & Corrections

Due to new funding and growth at BLS, you will be joining a growing, passionate team based in Bella Vista or Campbelltown in the office as well as servicing clients via telehealth or face-to-face sessions at Dillwynia Corrections Centre and Silverwater Correctional Centre.

About the Role
This unique opportunity involves providing psychological support within local correctional facilities and working with clients accessing victims’ services, alongside NDIS participants.
You will:
Deliver one-on-one psychological services to female clients, including victims of trauma and abuse
Support and guide the team on service delivery best practices
Contribute to team goals and participate in annual performance reviews
Collaborate with stakeholders, including government and community agencies
Offer professional advice on evidence-based approaches to reducing challenging behaviours
Note: Due to the nature of the work, this is a female-identified role.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Psychology
Full AHPRA registration as a Psychologist
Experience in victims’ services, sexual assault support, or forensic/corrections settings
Understanding of best-practice supports for individuals with intellectual and cognitive disabilities
Strong communication, administration, and MS Office skills
