About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Casual Teacher - Electrical to join our Construction team. In this role, you will deliver engaging and industry-relevant education that supports students in achieving their learning and career goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver training and assessment aligned with VET and curriculum requirements
  • Support student engagement, attendance and outcomes
  • Maintain teaching and compliance documentation
  • Participate in industry consultation and curriculum development
  • Provide pastoral and academic support to students
  • Engage in moderation, validation, and continuous improvement activities
  • Promote courses and liaise with industry and community networks

Skills and Experience Required
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent)
  • Victorian Electrical A Grade License
  • Certificate III in Electrotechnology
  • Relevant post-secondary qualifications and recent industry experience
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and VET compliance
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and ICT skills
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate and adapt in teaching practices
  • Experience in student engagement and vocational placement coordination

Additional Requirements

Successful candidate will be required to provide:

  • A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • A National Police Check
