About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Electrical - Trainer Under Supervision to join our Construction team. In this role, you will deliver engaging and industry-relevant education that supports students in achieving their learning and career goals under the guidance of a supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver training and assessment in selected modules under supervision
• Prepare and organize training materials and resources
• Maintain teaching documentation and student performance records
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with Melbourne Polytechnic policies, including OH&S and anti-discrimination

Skills and Experience Required

• Relevant vocational qualifications in Electrotechnology
• A Grade Electrical License
• Demonstrated industry experience
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent) or units such as TAEDEL301 and BSBCMM401 (desirable)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of ASQA/VET compliance requirements
• Ability to maintain accurate records and training documentation

Additional Requirements

Successful candidate will be required to provide:

• A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  
• A National Police Check
