About the Role
We are seeking suitably qualified or experienced Part-Time Community Support Workers with good availability and a passion for providing excellent care to support our participants in Bendigo.
As a Community Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to individuals living with disability, helping them to build independence and participate in everyday activities. Support may be provided in the home or out in the community and can include personal care, domestic tasks, social engagement, transport to appointments and activities, and skill-building.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our growing organisation. Remuneration commencing at $33.41 per hour for part-time employees. Salary packaging is available for permanent part-time staff to reduce the tax you pay and increase your take-home pay (as per PBI status). You will also be entitled to paid leave benefits, including annual leave and personal leave, in line with the National Employment Standards.
Availability Required
Support sessions are scheduled across different times of the day. Availability across a combination of the following session times is essential:
Morning: 8:00am – 12:00pm
Afternoon: 3:00pm – 5:00pm
Evening: 6:00pm – 8:00pm
Applicants must be available for at least three days per week, with Saturday availability preferred.

A qualification or experience in Disability Services/Aged Care/Individual Support/Home and Community Care or similar field. Applicants with lived experience are also encouraged to apply.
Experience in supporting people with complex needs and support requirements
Strong ethics and genuine approach towards participant dignity and safety and Work Health and Safety.
Adaptability, flexibility, resilience and respond positively to change.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Well-developed conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
Dedication to their job and their team.
Good presentation and a professional attitude.
