What you'll be doing

Undertake all aspects of carpentry work, including framing, formwork, roof installation, and finish carpentry, and building maintenance work

Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate and precise execution of work

Collaborate with the project team to problem-solve and find efficient solutions to construction challenges

Maintain a safe and tidy worksite, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations

Assist with the supervision and mentoring of junior team members

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Carpenter, with a minimum of 2 years' practical experience in the construction industry

Strong understanding of building materials, methods, and construction techniques

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Commitment to maintaining a safe and professional worksite

Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and schedules

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Relevant carpentry qualifications or trade certification
