We're seeking a skilled and motivated Crew Leader to supervise daily road, drainage and footpath maintenance works across the City. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who enjoys both leading a team and jumping on the tools when needed.

The Opportunity
As Crew Leader Works, you will:
Lead a small crew in the delivery of road, drainage and footpath maintenance and construction
Operate plant and equipment including skid steers, rollers and tipper trucks
Monitor worksite safety and quality, and maintain records for site reporting and materials
Interpret plans, set levels, and ensure each job meets City standards
Support the Supervisor Works with job setup, resource coordination and site readiness
This is a practical field-based role with responsibility for daily site leadership and on-the-job coaching of your crew.
What You'll Bring
Experience in road, drainage and path construction or maintenance
The ability to lead a small crew and communicate clearly on site
Understand WHS and traffic management obligations
Hold a current HR licence, White Card and Basic Worksite Traffic Management (BWTM) accreditation
The ability to read plans and use survey tools like laser levels
A Certificate III or IV in Civil Construction and experience using mobile work order systems will be highly regarded.

Level 4 salary of $85,560 + super
Additional Superannuation matching up to 5%
17.5% Leave Loading on 4 weeks annual leave
