About the role

Oakmane P/L is seeking a reliable and compassionate driver to transport special needs students to and from schools in the Blue Haven NSW 2262 areas. This is a casual role, offering flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people with additional needs.

What you'll be doing

Safely transporting students with special needs to and from their schools each day

Ensuring a calm and supportive environment for students during transportation

Communicating effectively with students, parents, and school staff to address any needs or concerns

Maintaining detailed records of pick-up and drop-off times, as well as any incidents or issues that arise

Adhering to all relevant safety protocols and regulations

What we're looking for

A valid driver's licence and clean driving record

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with students

Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting the wellbeing of young people

The ability to remain calm and responsive in challenging situations
