About the Role
This is a pivotal role suited to a mid-level engineer with 5+ years of local civil construction experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the technical aspects of civil projects from inception to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.

The role offers exposure to a variety of project scopes, including:

Earthworks

Drainage

Pavements

Utilities

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of civil infrastructure projects

Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met

Monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality benchmarks

Manage subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards

Prepare and review project documentation, including reports, RFIs, and quality records

Identify and resolve technical issues in the field

About You

Minimum 5 years of local civil construction experience

Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or related discipline

Solid understanding of relevant Australian standards and specifications

Proven experience across key civil disciplines such as earthworks, drainage, pavements, ITS, and utilities

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Previous experience working with a Tier 1 subcontractor is highly desirable but not essential

Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a project team
